If you plan to host an annual regatta or any seasonal events that use the same setup parameters, you may choose to use our cloning feature. Navigate to the list of regattas, find the one you would like to duplicate, scroll to the right, and click on the three dots. An option to ‘clone’ will appear. A “CLONED” version of that regatta will appear in your list of events. The settings will be the same, but the entry list will be blank. If you’d like to import entrants from an old regatta, see the ‘sync’ feature below.
<aside> ☝ While we import the settings from your previous regatta, we do not carry over santioning fees or dates so please be sure to update start/end date, entry fee windows, and sub-event dates if you're using them for your new event.

The sync feature allows you to import registrants to different regattas. Click in to the event where you’d like to import the entries. Navigate to Settings > Classes > select a class > scroll down to where you’ll see Sync. You’ll be prompted to select which classes you’d like to carry over. All registrants for that class will then be registered for the new regatta. Please note that this import will not trigger any billing; participants will need to be invoiced for any necessary registration fees.
