Clubspot supports the use of BBPOS WisePOS E countertop card readers with the PoS application, this article aims provide guidance on requirements to get the card readers connected to your network, and to Clubspot’s PoS. Turn the card reader on by holding the power button on the right-hand side of the reader. To open the settings menu, swipe right from the left edge of the reader screen to reveal a Settings button. Tap the Settings button and enter the admin PIN 07139. From here, you can update your WiFi settings or generate a pairing code for device registration. Battery status is displayed at the top right of this screen. To close the settings menu, click the back arrow in the top left corner.
In the settings on the card reader, select “Generate pairing code” to create a code that consists of three random words, linked together by dashes.
In the Clubspot dashboard, use the sidebar to navigate to “Point of Sale” → “Settings” → “Readers.”
Click on [+New Reader] in the upper right-hand corner and enter a name for the new reader.
Enter the registration code (including the dashes) and hit done.
When checking out in the PoS app, select “Card Reader,” and hit “Connect Now” or “Switch Readers” to begin using the new card reader!
