The Location Summary report uses the following terms, across multiple tables:

Includes reversal and void lines that occurred during this period, even if the lines they reverse were confirmed in a different period. | | Gross Volume | The sum of the Total column for all line items confirmed during this period, excluding reversals and voids.
Unlike Gross Sales, this value factors in everything that goes into an order total, including discounts, tax, and optional tips. Gross Volume will therefore match the sum of your order totals over any given period.* | | Net Volume | The sum of the Total column for all line items confirmed during this period, including reversals and voids.
Net Volume differs from Gross Volume in that reversal and void lines are included. | | Gross Sales | Sum of the Amount (unit amount x quantity) for line items confirmed during this period. For default gratuity lines, the Amount is derived from the Tip column.
Gross Sales are calculated before discounts and reversals, which means discount, reversal, and void lines are excluded from this calculation.

Reversals appear as a negative number on the date the reversal or void was performed.

*Note that for orders confirmed prior to May 2024, reversals are included in the order total. From May 2024 onwards reversals, voids, and credit notes do not impact the order total.
**You may have a custom label configured for your club (eg. Service Charge, Admin Fee, etc.). These all refer to auto-gratuity/default gratuity.
