Our social events have a new look and feel. We now present the event date, name, and details above the event flyer or image. Below the image you’ll find the option to see attendees from your membership, see other attendees who have RSVP’d, and add new registrations.
The new signup flow lets you add new tickets to your registration without leaving the page:
A key new feature of the social event setup is that you have control of attendee name requirements. Depending on the event you may want to collect the name for every single ticket holder (This is how v1 worked) or you might just want to know the total number of tickets. (A new feature of v2)
If ‘require attendee names’ toggle on the Basic Details section of the event is toggled off, we’ll make it optional for guest details.
This allows members to book tickets for their guests using a quantity picker and efficiently add them as opposed to entering them one by one and typing in each name.
In addition to the quantity picker for ticket types, v2 also has the benefit of more clearly showing whether you are already registered for an event to limit confusion.
