Confirm subscriber status

Most often, the recipient is not receiving the emails because they have unsubscribed from the communications list.

To confirm the status of any subscriber just navigate to Communications > Email list > search for the email. Confirm their status by looking at the status column (Subscribed vs Unsubscribed).

If the status is Unsubscribed, that is why they are not receiving emails. Please see below for instructions on how to re-subscribe the recipient.

<aside> ⚠️ Every bulk email that you send includes an unsubscribe option. When a recipient clicks to unsubscribe from one of your club emails you will not be able to send them emails until they have manually re-subscribed.

Re-subscribe in MailChimp

A major benefit of using MailChimp for your club’s communications are the safeguards they have in place for users. These safeguards aim to protect people from unwanted spam, and ensure a high rate of deliverability for recipients that are subscribed to your list.

If a recipient has unsubscribed from the club email list, you will need to manually request permission to re-subscribe them.

Please follow these steps to re-subscribe a recipient directly from your MailChimp account: https://mailchimp.com/help/resubscribe-a-contact/#Resubscribe_with_the_signup_form

Once you have followed the steps listed in MailChimp’s help center, you should see the member status change to Subscribed under Communication > Email List in Clubspot*.*

Please contact [email protected] if the member continues to have trouble receiving club emails.

<aside> ⛔ If you are experiencing an “error: your campaign is not ready to send account disabled“ message, it is because your MailChimp account is inactive. This may indicate that you have exceeded the limitations of MailChimp’s free user plan and will need to upgrade. You can log in to MailChimp directly to re-active the account. As soon as you do that, you'll be able to send emails as expected straight from Clubspot!
