Check in app
- Guest Passes
- Clubspot now supports guest passes that can be pre-registered and scanned on the check-in app prior to entry at the club.
- Configure custom rules for how many passes members can issue over specific periods of time.
- Automatically applies security mechanisms to prevent screenshot sharing (rotating QR codes, shimmering watermark, device locking, etc)
Receipts
- Ability to set a custom note at the bottom of digital receipts for a specific pos location
- Real-time, instant verification is now supported for bank accounts via micro-deposit flow (at least for some banks).
- Admins can now add a card on file for any membership by connecting to a card reader. This flow was previously supported from the POS, but is now supported directly from the admin dashboard too.
- Email notifications for boat document uploads
Emails
- Reservation cancellation emails for court bookings, tee times, reservable products, and dining reservations. Applies to cancellations made by admins and by members.
Document storage
- This feature does come at an additional cost, so please reach out to [email protected] if you’d like to discuss enabling the document storage tool.

- Member access rules: You can add any number of member access rules that limit what members have access to a document or file by a combination of membership category and add on
- General access
- Ability to generate link to files
- Access to file still follows access rules
- Can be added to club website

- Ability to generate link for file that is still protected by the files access rules
- Ability to set files access rules the same as the parent folders access rules
- By default, files with use parent folder access rules
- Ability to upload multiple files at the same time

Membership kiosk
- Ability to optionally show expired members in kiosk (shows them but you cant check them in). The default behavior is to HIDE expired members, so please reach out to [email protected] if you’d like to enable this feature.
- Use case: you can tell the difference between "never heard of you" and "I see your membership expired last year” when someone tries to check in.
Expired member handling
- Ability to instantly renew expired memberships directly from the check-in app (either with a payment method on file, card reader, or manual card entry).
- NOTE: These features require an account configuration. By default, expired members are not displayed in the check-in app, and cannot be renewed from the check-in app.
